What we test

28 markers, and what every one of them means.

Most panels hand you a page of abbreviations and a reference range. This is the whole list, with the plain-English version of each marker written next to it, before you buy anything.

You are drawn the longevity panel plus the hormone panel for your sex. Both come to 28 markers.

Drawn for everyone

Longevity Panel

Metabolic

  • 3-month blood sugar (HbA1c)

Your average blood sugar over the past three months, captured in a single number.

Inflammation

  • Inflammation (hs-CRP)

A sensitive measure of low-grade inflammation in your body, which quietly raises long-term risk when it stays elevated.

Cardiac and lipids

  • ApoB (heart-risk particles)

A count of the particles that actually carry cholesterol into your artery walls. Many doctors see it as the truest early warning for heart risk.

  • Lipoprotein(a)

An inherited cholesterol particle that adds to heart risk. It is mostly set by your genes, so it is worth knowing once.

  • Total cholesterol

The overall amount of cholesterol in your blood. Useful as a starting point, but the pieces below tell the real story.

  • LDL (“bad”) cholesterol

Often called “bad” cholesterol because it can build up in the walls of your arteries over time.

  • HDL (“good”) cholesterol

Often called “good” cholesterol because it helps carry cholesterol out of your arteries.

  • Triglycerides

A fat in your blood that rises with sugar, alcohol, and extra carbs. High levels track with heart and metabolic risk.

Liver

  • Liver enzyme (ALT)

An enzyme that rises when your liver is under strain. A basic read on liver health.

  • Liver enzyme (GGT)

An enzyme that responds to alcohol, fatty liver, and some medications. It is often the first liver marker to move.

Kidney

  • Kidney filter (cystatin C)

A kidney measure that does not depend on muscle mass, so it stays honest in people who are very lean or very muscular.

Nutrients

  • Vitamin D

The “sunshine” vitamin, important for bones, mood, and immune strength. Most people run low, especially in winter.

  • Vitamin B

The B vitamins, which your body uses to turn food into energy and to keep red blood cells and nerves healthy. Running low tends to show up first as fatigue and foggy thinking.

  • Ferritin (stored iron)

Your body’s stored iron. Low ferritin is a common, very fixable cause of fatigue.

Thyroid

  • Thyroid signal (TSH)

The signal your brain sends to your thyroid. It is the first thing checked when energy, weight, or mood feel off.

  • Active thyroid hormone (Free T3)

The active thyroid hormone that sets your metabolism and energy.

  • Thyroid hormone (Free T4)

A thyroid hormone your body converts into its active form. Part of the full thyroid picture.

  • Thyroid antibodies (TPO)

An immune marker that flags whether your body is attacking its own thyroid.

Drawn for women

Female Hormone Panel

Hormones

  • Testosterone (total)

A hormone that affects energy, muscle, mood, and libido in everyone, not just men.

  • Estrogen (estradiol)

Your main estrogen. It shapes your cycle and, when you are trying to conceive, the quality of that cycle.

  • Progesterone

The hormone that confirms you ovulated and prepares your body for a possible pregnancy.

  • Cycle hormone (FSH)

A hormone from your brain that helps drive your monthly cycle and egg development.

  • Cycle hormone (LH)

A hormone from your brain that triggers ovulation each cycle.

  • Adrenal hormone (DHEA-S)

A hormone from your adrenal glands that feeds your sex hormones and tracks with your resilience to stress.

Blood count

  • Red cell share (hematocrit)

The share of your blood made up of red cells. It shifts with hydration, altitude, and some hormone therapies.

  • Hemoglobin

The protein in your red blood cells that carries oxygen. Low levels can leave you tired and short of breath.

Kidney and liver

  • Kidney check (creatinine)

A routine read on how well your kidneys are filtering.

  • Kidney filtration rate (eGFR)

An estimate of how well your kidneys filter your blood, worked out from your creatinine, age, and sex. Higher is healthier.

  • Liver enzyme (GGT)

An enzyme that responds to alcohol, fatty liver, and some medications. It is often the first liver marker to move.

Drawn for men

Male Hormone Panel

Hormones

  • Testosterone (total)

A hormone that affects energy, muscle, mood, and libido in everyone, not just men.

  • Estrogen (estradiol)

Your main estrogen. It shapes your cycle and, when you are trying to conceive, the quality of that cycle.

  • Cycle hormone (LH)

A hormone from your brain that triggers ovulation each cycle.

  • Prolactin

A pituitary hormone. When it runs high it can pull testosterone and estrogen down and affect libido and cycles.

  • Adrenal hormone (DHEA-S)

A hormone from your adrenal glands that feeds your sex hormones and tracks with your resilience to stress.

Screening

  • Prostate screen (PSA)

A protein made by the prostate, used as a screening check. It can rise for several reasons, so it is a prompt to look closer rather than an answer.

Blood count

  • Red cell share (hematocrit)

The share of your blood made up of red cells. It shifts with hydration, altitude, and some hormone therapies.

  • Hemoglobin

The protein in your red blood cells that carries oxygen. Low levels can leave you tired and short of breath.

What this list is not

The panel is what we draw, not what the assistant can read.

You can bring bloodwork you already have. Upload a PDF from any lab, from any year, and the assistant reads what is on it and folds it into the same picture. Markers outside this list get the same treatment: what it is, where yours sits, and what moves it.

Membership is the app. Bloodwork is bought separately, and you are never required to buy it from us to use any of this.

Luvera Labs finalized panel specification, 2026-08-20. Drawn on a 1 mL tube.
